Neither smoking weed nor masturbation reduces the effectiveness of the rabies vaccine. Your intradermal 4-dose rabies vaccination given in June has already built long-term protective immunity, and these habits do not interfere with how the immune system responds to the vaccine.

Rabies Vaccination does not lose effectiveness because someone smokes cannabis or masturbates. Cannabis use, even several times per week, does not meaningfully suppress immune function to the point of compromising rabies vaccination.

No, the vaccine efficacy won’t be affected. Still it is advisable to avoid these habits.

Smoking weed and masturbation do not reduce the effectiveness of the rabies vaccine. There is no medical or scientific evidence showing that either of these can weaken antibody formation after rabies vaccination.
Next Steps
What you should focus on now • Trust the completed vaccination • Avoid repeated online searching about rabies • Consider addressing anxiety directly (counselling or medical support) • Reduce cannabis use if it increases anxious thinking
Health Tips
Your thoughts are consistent with health anxiety / obsessive reassurance seeking, not rabies risk. Common features include: • Doubting completed treatment • Fear that normal actions “ruined” the medicine • Persistent rumination despite reassurance Cannabis can increase anxiety and intrusive thoughts, which may be worsening this cycle.
