Hello doctor I am having uti for 6 months and this happened after my depressed episode. I have used several antibiotics for months but there is no total relief in uretra pain. I have done usg in that bladder got thickened. I have done urine analysis and culture. In culture ecoli found. In analysis albumin is + . I have done psa test as it is suspected that it's due to prostatitis but its value is 0.29. Is it due to stress or any strong reason is there?

Mostly recurrent uti needs antibiotic couse atleast for 14 days Next best step would be to check HBA1C to rule out diabetes Do urine culture and sensitivity from a good hospital or lab. And if it shows bacteria , then to take antibiotic course for atleast 14 days to prevent recurrent uti.
