USG OF LOWER ABDOMEN

Ovaries: Both the ovaries reveal multiple peripherally placed small cysts with relative increase echo texture. Uterus: Uterus is normal in size and anteverted in position. No focal lesion is noted. Endometrium is normal and measures 5.9mm in thickness. Myometrium is homogeneous. Cervix is normal. Uterus measures 78x34x38mm. UB: UB is normally distended and shows normal wall thickness. UB lumen is anechoic. Please let me know the meaning of this diagonosis mentioned in report ?

Multiple peripherally arranged follicle indicates PCOS morphology.But in addition to the above finding there should also be a minimum number of follicle and also volume of ovary of certain value above which PCOS can be proved.Connecr for detailed explanation
