Is it necessary to wear a postpartum belt after the caesarean section. How long should one wear it after delivery.

Nothing is "necessary" in Medical practice. And you can't be put on charge for not following the Medical advice. It is only the Doctor who can be punished for "not giving Medical advice". So Doctors will keep on giving advice and you should keep on ignoring it with impunity.

Definitely not It's advisable in patients who are obese it in whom the dr is suspecting hernia eg Midline vertical incision Previous cesarean etc
