I was facing irregular periods and issues of blood discharge. Doctor told i had pcod. So I was given the medicine (desogestrel & ethinylestradiol tablets - gesto care) & (wl 52 drops for ovarian cysts). Both were given for a month. After a month i got my periods and i visited doctor. After one month (i.e 29th Dec) she removed gesto care tablets and gave (drospirenone & ethinylestradiol tablets - drosi care). The issue is i had unprotected sex on 29th December  and on the same day in the afternoon i got my periods (first day) after which i visited my doctor and she changed my tables. I didn't tell her about having unprotected sex. My bf had pulled out but I'm not sure. Please suggest. It's been 4 days now.

You got your periods when they were due. You had unprotected sex on the date of your periods. The time of your periods is the safest time to have sex as far as fear of pregnancy is concerned. The medicine that you were taking is basically in oral contraceptive pill And they  give you contraceptive benefit as well So if you were taking it from day one of the period regularly without skipping any tablet in between you cannot be pregnant Another important thing is once you get your periods any chances of pregnancy resulting from acts of intercourse prior are ruled out
