Typhoid treatment
Hi,
after completing 14 days antibiotics course for typhoid and 1 week after that, I am still having bloating all the time, little cough and throat irritation. I dont have fever from last 2 weeks. What I need to do ? Is there any conclusive test to confirm taht typhoid is not present now ? I heard widal remains positive even after typhoid treatment, is there any other test to confirm ? Thypidot or blood culture or they also affected after treatment ?

Your symptoms at present are due to the antibiotics you have taken for 2 weeks.
Please switch to normal diet and restart your gradual physical activity.
Have some dry fruits.
Widal test gives a good idea about whether Typhoid is active or it is cured.

No need for other test, if ur symptoms free.
For bloating u can treatment and for cough after eveluation and examination u cv take medications if required

Tablet Omez 20 mg 2 times before meals. If required inbetween u can take gellusil syp 10-15 ml , maximum 3 times a day. Fir dry cough u can take Alex syurp for 2- times a day. If still persist then gor cbs and chest xray, esr.

May be due to low immunity after typhoid you got rest infection
Just take symptomatic treatment
Do some home remedies like warm water gargaling with salt
