Trouble sleeping - Insomnia

2021-12-18 00:43:36
Diagnosed with vitamin b12 deficiency a month ago and taking mecobalamin 500 once a day. I might have a deficiency of vitamin d as well as it has been a persistent problem in the previous years. I work on a night shift which ends at 1 am and I also have rheumatoid arthritis with no active symptoms at the moment. Unable to fall asleep until 4-6 am everyday, and difficulty staying asleep since almost a month. Feeling very tired and feverish with severe muscle pains due to lack of sleep as the body doesn't at all feel rested. Any advise on which specialist I need to consult?

Did you start your night shift recently? If so it takes time for the body to adjust to the new timing. Need not worry Try breathing exercises, drink milk before going to bed. Try to wake up early in the morning to get some sunlight which is very good source of vit D. If you're stressed and unable to sleep since a long time, consult psychiatrist for counseling.
Next Steps
consult for any query.
