Good morning,
You have been through a difficult experience and have navigated it wonderfully through Counselling. However, what has happened here is that you have dissociated or rather emotionally distanced yourself from everything unconsciously. This is a defense mechanism where in your mind is protecting you from getting affected. But it is also affecting all other areas because of the defense. Emotions are extremely important to be felt everyday and with everything experience. Shutting them out would mean we are not yet ready to interact with the outside world.
Next Steps
Please continue with therapy. Ask your therapist to help you find a way to navigate the experience of bullying while allowing yourself to experience emotions for everything else. It will not be easy but it is very possible. You are strong. You can do it.
Health Tips
1. Allow yourself to step out of your comfort..
2. Ask your therapist to work on Coping mechanism.
3. Practice Self-Defense techniques (physically, verbally) for tackling bullying..
