Toothache (RCT) ROOT CANAL TREATMENT
I had a root canal treatment on a molar tooth 5 months ago and my dentist did a temporary filling later that week but all of a sudden he went out of town for work and hasn't come back yet.
That temporary filling only stayed for a while and came out. It's been more than 4 months now my tooth is open and hurts sometimes. i couldn't go because i had dental anxiety. that tooth stinks what should I do ? can that tooth be saved or should I get it extracted?

Hello , Please get the treatment immediately as the tooth is fragile and tend to fracture. First go to the nearby dentist.. and get the clinical examination and x ray done if there is a possibility for retreatment can be done. If the prognosis is poor we decide for extraction. Doctor will do the x ray, and accordingly the treatment.
As filling has came out, so there is a chance of re infection.
