I have removed my Wisdom tooth today at PGI,I don't know whether it's a common to tear up the gum and stitches after extracting the tooth or not,but the bleeding didn't stop even after 3 hrs and the pain is severe.I took 1 painkiller but not helping at all.

Hello. Visit your doctor for a check up... follow all instructions given by them. Do mouth opening exercises . Reflection of gum flap, bone drilling and stitches/ sutures are given to remove an impacted third molar. Some pain, swelling, restricted mouth opening are common.  Happy to help. Dr Zankhana Mody Mohile
