Tongue twisting and tingling effect

2024-12-04 16:44:23
I have undergone the wisdom tooth extract almost 3 months back but after the extraction when the anaesthesia effect and swelling reduced i started feeling the tingling sensation in my tongue on the right side. The tingling sensation is still there and even without realisation the tongue is trying to twist itself as it feels coming in between my teeth Is this common for the tongue to feel the sensation and the twisting?

Hello ma'am, Paraesthesia is a complication following a third molar extraction. It should resolve over time. Consult your dentist for a thorough examination and appropriate medication if the problem doesn't subside

Hello ! Sad to say that you r too young and underwent a case with such tragedy.. usually this occurs due your lower back last tooth extraction the soo called wisdom tooth .. due to harsh pressure over during the procedure, this isn’t actually common soo let me tell you the nerve which passes through your i mean which passes sensations to your tongue is partially damaged.. we call it lingual nerve and few disturbances in the nerve causes you these symptoms.. tingling sensation and tongue in between your teeth everything is related to that nerve damage. Now consulting the dentist and questioning him doesn’t make any sense .. and itz quiet common during third molar extractions . Soo kindly consult your neurologist.. and he will prescribe you the medications .. so that u might recover ! Dont take this light ! Few times the sensation comes by it own but .. we can’t assure you when will it be back ! Soo consult your specialist !
