TMJ -left side head burning/pulling

Hello, I have TMJ issue from few years which used to make clicking sound rarely while eating and not now. However now  for more than 6 months, I have pulling and burning sensation on left side of my head day and night. Whom should I consult dentist or neurologist or physiotherapist. Please advise. Thanks, Sashi

Did you take any test to confirm TMJ issue? If not you have to consult a Neuro physician first to rule out Neuro complaints. Once TMJ is confirmed you should consult a physiotherapist for complete assessment and treatment.

Your symptoms show it as TMJ dysfunction in which a physiotherapist can help you TMJ dysfunction disbalances the muscle and nervous which can produce such symptoms

Good morning! If no pains during chewing activity, dentist may not be best person. Get your neck, muscles around neck and jaw, face assessed for any trigger points in upper trapezius, sternoncleidomastoid muscles or referral pain from neck. Find Physio with manual therapy skills. Neurologist can also be consulted to rule out nerve related pain esp Trigeminal neuralgia.
