I have jaw issue, done Mri tmj, results are normal. Does tmj disorder happens without any reason or will it happen due to stress/anxiety. If so how to recover from it

Hello Dear, Firstly, please help me with the Jaw issues that you are facing as there are various types of TMJ Disorders. Till the time we do not listen and understand the said concerns, it becomes difficult to diagnose. Elaborating the various Reasons for TMJ Disorders: - Jaw clenching /Bruxism - Stress/ Anxiety - Trauma to the Joint - Improper Bite Relation between upper and lower teeth - TMJ Arthritis What are your symptoms? - Headache - Earache - Ringing sound hearing often/ Tinnitus - Difficulty in chewing food - Difficulty in opening mouth - Pain in Neck and shoulder area - Jaw pain - Clicking sound in the jaw while opeining and/or closing and on right/left side - Jaw gets Lock - Tired face feeling, etc Investigations needed: TMJ area has Hard and Soft body tissue. Hard tissue like bones can be evaluated with Water's View Xrays Bilateral in Open Mouth and Closed Mouth position. Get OPG done to check for any sinus or ear infection issues. MRI can evaluate only Soft body tissues in TMJ area like Cartilage, Disc. A CBCT Scan may be required too to understand the problem in depth.
