Opg is needed to find out ,whether the problem is in your teeth or in joint. Sometimes the overfilling also an important factor that causes tmj pain .

As for wisdom teeth mith. We can perform RCT on any tooth in oral cavity!its a DENTISTs Skill^•~ as if the patient concern to save their respective tooth,.there is no such proof of only treatment for third molar is extraction*/_ though there is limitations as its not an easy tooth to perform RCT coz of its location but if accessable RCT is done i.r.t the teeth(³rd molar) As of for you pain persisting even afer retreatments. You need to be specific with visual finding also ,that is through your Radipgraph** so provide needful for proper and full accessment! And as for TMD(Temporomandibular Disorders) there are nearly 30 cause...for such so for this you need a OPG first The TMD can be of bone/ muscle/ headache associated!then if needed CBCT will be next / best option!
