If you’re hearing an actual ringing or humming sound in your ear (as if the sound is coming from outside or inside your ear physically), then it could be tinnitus. In that case, I’d suggest consulting an ENT specialist to rule out any ear-related cause.
But if the song is replaying in your mind, like a tune that keeps looping or a mental replay — that’s more of a psychological or cognitive process. It can happen when our mind associates that song with certain emotions, like sadness or comfort, and starts replaying it automatically.
If it’s the second case, we can definitely work on it through mindfulness, grounding, and mood regulation techniques to help your mind break that pattern and feel calmer.
