First of all visit dentist for proper clinic diagnosis and treatment plan.... Don't depend only on painkillers as it is not good for your overall health.. Proper treatment is necessary.

First of all , please dont take painkillers by yourself unless and until a recognised doctor prescribes. Over the counter (otc) and misuse of painkillers damages kidney etc.
Next Steps
visit doctor to get root cause diagnosis and appropriate treatment

It shall depend on the reason you are taking it for but of needed can be taken Every 8 hours for 3 to 4 days. If prolonged it can cause other side effects. If pain subsides even a  twice a day dosage might suffice.
Next Steps
do discuss the treatment needs instead of consuming pain killers for long.

Hi, For Flexon you can have a time gap of 6-8 hrs. Just painkillers alone will not help to subside your pain , you will also need antibiotics if there is an infection.
