If you have  hypothyroidism  and don't take medicine  your hypothyroidism will worsen. Symptoms  include weight gain,  lethargy,  fatigue,  hair loss, constipation, irregular menstrual cycle etc. If you have hyperthyroidism  you will have symptoms  opposite  like weight loss, hyperactivity,  irritability, frequentl bowel movements etc
