Thyroid problem

My father has a tsh level of 5.43 and his t3 and t4 levels are normal. Does it need any further evaluation? Does he need to have medication for this?

It is sub clinical hypothyroid, if you are married and planning for conception, medications has to be started. Consult Gynecologist.
