Throat is dry when I wake up from sleep

When i wake up from my sleep, my throat is dry and there are chunks of flem that I spit out once I wake up. I sleep under the fan and rarely in A/c. Please help with what I need to do to prevent this.

any history of infections? duration of the problem? I will require a few more inputs for proper diagnosis and treatment. please feel free to take online consultation. these problems can be a response to infections or snoring or sinusitis.
