Is it possible to have teeth without roots, my doctor says that this is extra teeth with no roots, and this needs to be extracted. How can one get extra teeth.? Thanks

It is not teeth without root, am sure it is deciduous teeth that is not fallen (baby teeth) none of the adult can be there inside your mouth without roots. It is better to remove this .

It is very likely a supernumerary tooth. Most favoured site being upper jaw midline region. It may occur in other areas too. Extraction will depend on certain factors, which I believe your dentist explained you before coming to conclusion of extraction. It does happen that one got an extra tooth. It's a variation.
