Hi,
My mother taking RXTOR 10 gold tablet for morethan 1 year is it advisable to take that tablet for prolonged duration,will it affect kidney function.

as the medication your mother is taking is to prevent clot formation and furthermore prevent the patient from experiencing a more severe incident like stroke and heart attacks, it is important to diligently continue the medication and to not discontinue it without speaking to a professional first. it will not affect kidney function and the reward is higher than the risk in this case.

She should continue this medication, as it is important to prevent heart attack and other major diseases. It doesn't affect kidney function test, moreover it's just 1 year. But other parameters affecting kidney should be ok.
