After every feed keep the nipple and surrounding areas dry and you may apply simple cream . That will keep away infection. Swelling is common. Dnt worry abt that. It will subside. For more questions, kindly consult with me on 94 two six eight six 78 nine six.

Slight swelling and itching on the areola while breastfeeding is often due to skin irritation, a mild latch issue, or occasionally a yeast infection, and the photo doesn't show anything alarming.
Next Steps
Please keep the area clean and dry between feeds, and see a gynaecologist or lactation consultant if it doesn't settle in a few days.
Health Tips
If you notice cracking, discharge, fever, or worsening pain, please get it checked in person soon.
