My child has been adminstered painless vaccine Infanrix hexa at 6 weeks. Can I switch to normal painful vaccine easysix at 10 and 14 weeks or I should keep painless for 6,10,14 weeks and give painful at booster dose 18 months and 4-6 years. As painful has more efficiency for pertusis. What can be the best path. What do the Indian Pediatrician association recommend for best immunity? Please help

Hii This vaccine (both painless and painful) fights against 6 diseases, the only difference is in pertussis. Efficacy might decrease once you change the vaccine against pertussis only rest others immunity increases. Better to give the vaccine which you have started with till 14 weeks at least. All vaccines are not 100% immune. Coverage will be somewhere between 75-95% after completing the schedule.
