My front tooth gum is swollen like anything , I had taken pain killer but its not working .. I had done filling before .. please help

Hi, Please visit a dentist. It is important to assess it clinically as swelling can be either because of infected gum or tooth decay. Popping pain killers will not help. Thanks.

hello, you can do warm salt water rinses as a home remedy, but that will give you only temporary relief from pain. you need to visit a dentist and get it checked. If required get a x-ray done. if there is a cavity then get it filled. if there is infection to the root of the tooth, then you need to get it treated.

Please visit a dentist near you for a definite diagnosis because localised swelling could be because of decayed tooth or can be an infection in gums.

Visit dentist get iopa done so that we will know whether swelling is due to carious tooth or because of gum infection.
