Suffering from urine infection

2026-09-20 10:04:37
“My urine routine report shows bacteria 84.7/HPF, cocci 78.1/HPF, and mucus 182.8/HPF, while WBC is normal at 0.8/HPF and urine is slightly turbid. Does this indicate a UTI, or could it be sample contamination? Should I do a urine culture or need any treatment?”

Those numbers alone don't confirm a true infection versus a contaminated sample, both can look similar on a routine urine exam.
Next Steps
A urine culture is the right next step to tell the two apart and guide whether treatment is actually needed.
