Stomach issue

2026-01-18 05:55:05
My mom experiencing severe stomach pain and a burning sensation before lunch every day. The pain usually starts one to two hours before eating and becomes intense if I delay my meal. Sometimes it feels like cramping, and other times it is a sharp or burning discomfort in the upper abdomen. This problem has been continuous for the past one month and is affecting my daily routine, concentration, and appetite. Eating food gives temporary relief, but the pain returns again the next day. Due to this ongoing issue, I am feeling weak, anxious, and uncomfortable and would like proper medical evaluation and treatment.

From the way you’re describing it, this sounds very typical of acid-related stomach problems like gastritis or a peptic ulcer. Pain that comes on before meals, feels burning, and improves after eating is a classic pattern. Given her age and that this has been going on daily for a month, this should not be ignored.
Next Steps
She needs a proper medical consultation soon. Tests like blood work, H. pylori testing, and possibly an upper endoscopy may be needed so treatment can be started properly.
Health Tips
Avoid delaying meals, spicy food, tea/coffee, painkillers, and empty stomach for now. If there is vomiting, black stools, weight loss, or worsening pain, seek care urgently.
