Hello, Ringing or buzzing noise in one or both ears can be defined as tinnitus. We have found that those who suffer from frequent cold, having nosal increase, the one who has dental problems, or person facing tonsils, or vertigo, half headache, or feels giddiness may face with tinnitus in their life. Different sounds like whistle blowing sound  aircraft sound, horn etc comes from patients ears.

You seem to be having temporo Mandibular joint dysfunction which might have been the cause for tinnitus and jaw swelling. You may need to use soft diet, apply hot compresses to the joint for few days.
