Slipped disc

I cannot bend forward since I have slipped disc in L5. It's been four months now and I have visited many doctors and physios but the pain is still there constantly especially when I sit or sneeze . What is the solution? I have started wearing lumbar belt and taking gemcal plus since my b12 and d3 levels are also low. Any other suggestions?

Chiropractic adjustment will help. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times

Use some sort of lumbar support/ roll while sitting to keep the spine erect. Keep posture erect ( may be by hugging a pillow ) while Coughing.Do back extensions, I.e., backward bending exercises for the spine.

Consult a McKenzie trained Physiotherapist in your area who would guide you through stages of extension exercises followed by recovery of flexion/ bending forward.

Have you gotten an MRI? And does the pain go down to your legs and feet? 4 months is a long time. Consult another doctor and physiotherapist. Get a reassessment and start afresh.

Visit a Physio. Physio will focus on pain relief initially. Once your pain subsides physio will work on to improve your core muscle strength. More stronger are your core muscles better it will protect your spine. Physio will also advise you on posture corrective exercise.
Next Steps
Take hot pack for your back to improve blood circulation and reduce pain and spasm. Don't sit for a long time  Bed rest.
