Sleeping problem

Hi.. I am 31M working in IT. I am not getting sound sleep during night.. Even though I sleep well and wake up in morning, I feel very drowsy most of the time and get headache rarely.. I don't have any work pressure or personal problems..

You need to consult Psychiatrist as many reasons behind your sleep problem, you can cal usl also....

it is important to determine what exactly you mean by you claiming you dont get sound sleep. because you claim that you sleep well. its important to assess the duration of sleep, the timings of your sleep, difficulty in initiation of sleep, difficulty to sustain sleep, nightmares or night terror, sleep apnea (difficulty in breathing while sleeping), consumption of stimulants (nicotine, caffeine) and other sleep habits. but it is important to understand and realize that sleep alone do not determine whether you have a refreshing or an active day ahead of you, there are multiple physiological and psychological factors which does so. a lot of people now days complain of fatigue and tiredness which may be offshoots of other malfunctions or disturbances in life and general functioning and lifestyle. sleep merely contributes to adequate energy levels during day times, it doesn't dictate or determine. its also important to get a through physicians advice since a lot of medical factors may influence in this condition too for example thyroid levels which a medical probationer is better at managing. you may be under the false impression that sleep is the cause of your woes which is unnecessarily increasing your anxiety level and further disturbing your performance and functioning.

I understand how much tiring and stressful this situation can be , but since you said you don't have any kind of mental stress or work load we need to understand your lifestyle and routine . Also we need to know if subconsciously something is affecting you But till then as a general but very effective tip which can give you a sound sleep would be that: 1 . Wake up early , this will make you feel sleepy at night and don't sleep in afternoon. 2 . Go for jogging in morning this will flush out the negetive toxins in you through sweat 3 . Exercise deep breathing , it helps oxygenating our blood cells which will boost your mood. 4 . Join some sports activity , this will make you tiresome which will help you to sleep better. 5 . For headache , get your eye checkup. I hope these tips work well for you , incase you discover any mental stress you can approach me . Hello, not getting refreshing sleep can be for multiple reasons: 1. Stress 2. Depression or anxiety 3. Sleep apnea or 4. Shift jobs (that require you to sometimes work in morning and sometimes at night)
