Hi Practo User, Sleep is an important function that helps restore the body. Not getting enough sleep may give rise to significant health problems. There may be underlying factors like preoccupation of thoughts in the unconscious mind which may result in lack of sleep and other probable stressors. It is suggested that you consult a clinical psychologist for better clarity to detect the underlying factors and its management.

Health Tips
To manage the sleep you may try: 1. reducing or removing light by using blackout curtains and using dim lighting, if required. 2. removing unnecessary electronics from the bedroom at night, also avoid using electronic devices for at least 30 minutes before bedtime 3.keeping a consistent sleep schedule not napping and developing a relaxing bedtime routine 4.
