Skin staining after iron infusion

I got an iron infusion 3 months ago and the skin got stained, there was itching and swelling but it went down but the skin stain is still there. Any idea how to reduce the discoloration or is it permanent?

Skin staining following intravenous iron infusion is a rare but important side effect. The skin staining is potentially permanent but may fade in time.  Laser treatment helps but it's very costly.
