Hello Doctor In my 31 week growth scan dr. found a single loose umbilical cord partially around the neck of the baby..is it something dangerous for my baby..?please tell me

Umbilical cord if loosely attached nothing to worry as it won't harm the foetus . Follow up scan is needed

It’s not something you should be worried about. As the umbilical cord keeps moving along with baby and sometimes can get entangled around the neck. Most of the times it gets released on its own. Do mention ur radiologist to look for it in the next scan. Also keep a watch on the baby movements
