Hello, I am Dr. Romain Rajan, General Physician. I understand your concern. Your liver function tests (LFTs) show: SGOT (AST): 110 U/L – raised SGPT (ALT): 150.6 U/L – raised Direct bilirubin: 0.5 mg/dL – normal Mild elevations of AST and ALT can occur due to viral hepatitis, medication or toxin-related liver stress, fatty liver, or other infections. Your symptoms of nausea, fatigue, and weakness for 10 days suggest your liver is under some stress and needs careful evaluation. General Advice: Avoid alcohol and hepatotoxic medications (like excess paracetamol or herbal supplements). Eat a light, balanced diet, avoiding fried and processed foods. Stay hydrated and rest adequately. What to monitor / when to worry: Monitor for yellowing of eyes or skin, persistent vomiting, dark urine, severe abdominal pain. Note if fatigue or nausea worsens. Medicine / supplements: Do not start any liver medications or supplements without a doctor’s prescription. When to consult a doctor immediately: Jaundice (yellow eyes or skin) Persistent vomiting or inability to eat/drink Severe abdominal pain or confusion ✅ Next steps: Schedule an appointment with a physician or gastroenterologist/hepatologist for detailed evaluation. They may order ultrasound of liver, viral hepatitis markers, and repeat LFTs to identify the cause. If your symptoms persist or worsen, I strongly recommend consulting a doctor promptly. You can connect with me on Practo or WhatsApp at 85271646 seven seven for a more personalized consultation. Best regards, Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician
