Severe back pain. Started yesterday. Unable to straighten up. Slightest movement can literally drop.me to my knees. Think I've just woken my neighbours with my screaming out in.pain. settle in a comfortable position now but as soon as I move the pain will start up again. Lower back around waist area. Is it muscular, trapped nerve or something else?

Hi There are many causes of lower back ache as it can be cause of ligaments, spinal disc, spinal cord and nerves etc. Please consult orthpaedician first to rule out what is causing this extreme pain. Till that time Take rest Do not stand for prolonged time Ice pack Do not exercise till pain is there
