Sensitivity in gums

Whenever I drink cold or hot water I feel too much sensitivity in my gums and it spreads to my entire jaw. I went to a dentist but they told it's normal. Pls can someone suggest some toothpaste or medicine?

Please take a second opinion. There has to be a reason . It can be either periodontal or it can be a cavity that went undetected.

Hi, Avoid extreme hot and cold temperature food and liquids for a few weeks. Use the prescribed anti-sensitivity pastes for a period of 2 weeks and see if you can find a difference. Visit the dentist again for a review after 2 weeks.
