I had dengue 3 years back.  It's been said that secondary denv 2 infection can be deadly. Can we recover from secondary denv 2 infection?

Yes. The very fact that there is no sudden and unusual rise in the death rate in any City or Country shows that not all patients of Secondary Dengue infection die.
