My friend has tested positive for second pregnancy. Lmp : Jan 18th 2022 Week in last ultrasound : 6 weeks 2 days Only sac was seen n no fetal pole so doctor suggested for scan again on coming Thursday and If fetal pole not seen then to abort.please suggest

After 6 weeks fetal pole shud be seen This is not a viable Pregnancy

Sometimes the structures are not visible. So what is done is that scan is repeated after a stipulated time, in case it doesn’t get visible usually suggests that the pregnancy is not viable or hasn’t grown so it needs to be terminated
