Sciatica pain subsidised but tingling

Hello doctors I had disc herniation in l4 l5 and had acute sciatica pain about one month ago . Now my pain has subsided alot but I get tingling sensation whenever I stand up from sitting or lying for 30 40 mints.. is this normal and m currently on medication for pain relief with muscle relaxant and nerve healing medication as prescribed Regards Sidharth

I think the remaining sensations are because your nerves might not be healthy. You may be having vitamin b12 and d deficiencies

Hello The intensity of the persisting symptoms depends on the level of disc compression on the cord. So sometimes pain reduces but symptoms like what you mention do remain. Continue the medication as prescribed.
