I have been having cough and phlegm since a month and even though cough is reduced i get phlegm, enough to clear my throat many times. Now, during the antibiotics phase on day 3 morning, i had a episode of blood in cough, maybe i forced the cough. Then today morning, no cough but while i clear the phlegm out of my throat i saw blood, but after that there's no blood in any mucus, its mostly clear with bubbles. I have been askee for a chest xray from the pulmonologist but i am too scared to get an xray and just delaying it. I cannot gather courage. A relative of mine is being treated for stage 4 lung cancer, and due to the fear what if it is tb or cancer i am unable to gather courage and go for xray.
