The mild pain and tightness around your jawline and cheek now are likely due to local muscle strain or nerve sensitivity from the earlier scratch or tension. 1. Advices Apply a warm compress (lukewarm cloth) over the painful area for 10–15 minutes twice daily. Continue your prescribed pain tablet after meals for 3–5 days. Avoid pressing or repeatedly touching the area, as it can delay nerve recovery. 2. What to Monitor Any increase in pain, swelling, or redness around the chin. Difficulty opening the mouth or chewing. Fever, unusual facial twitching, or neck stiffness. 3. Management Since you already received a Tetanus vaccine (TT), that covers bacterial protection. If you are absolutely unsure whether the bat had physical contact (bite/scratch), you can discuss rabies vaccination (PEP) with your nearest doctor or government hospital within 14 days but if the wound was just a self-inflicted scratch after the bat flew nearby, rabies risk is negligible and vaccination is not needed. Its depend on depth of wound and scratches it is too deep then you should take rabies prophylaxis or it is superficial then nothing to worry it keep it clean and wash with dettol and running water and after this you should clean the wound
