I am a right handed fast cricket bowler. I am suffering with mild tear in my right shoulder, now it is restricting my hand movements and highly painful. I don't wanna go for any surgery. Can physio therapy help me in my recovery without going for surgery. Also what kind of treatment it would be.

Hello definitely physiotherapy will help you to recover that too without surgery. If you really have mild tear, then physiotherapy is the only option unless it's a complete tear. complete tear may need surgery. In my opinion you should consult a good n professional physiotherapist who will examine you thoroughly and then coustimise the physiotherapy protocol as per ur needs of sports. Once the pain is reduced, sports specific physiotherapy will be started. and yes rotator cuff injuries do take some time to recover, but it recovers nicely by physiotherapy. If any querry you can have direct consultation with me on practo. Regards
