Do not worry pulp is present in every tooth and is removed during root canal treatment.  If pain persists your doctor will give you a dressing in between the sittings as necessary.  Additionally your doctor will also prescribe you antibiotics and analgesics. Report your problem to your doctor and im sure he will resolve it
