Leg cramps are most commonly from calcium, magnesium or Vitamin D deficiency — get these checked along with potassium. Stay well hydrated and stretch calves before bed. The visible vein in the leg for a year along with cramps needs a venous Doppler to rule out varicose veins. Visible hand veins are usually normal.
