Rhomboid pain after heavy workout

Pain in the rhomboid for several months after a heavy deadlift (with bad posture) after seeing many doctors there is no relief in pain

Rhomboids are scapular retractors. The common mistake that lifters do is they retract their upper back which is going to pressurise the Rhomboids. Remember your rhomboids are the stabilisers and not meant to lift 200 300 pounds of weight. This action should be done by the Latissimus. So when you retract your upper back to lift this is wrong technique. You must keep your arms long and straight in front of you, then depress to use the lats.

Hi you directly mentioned rhomboid pain...you dint disclose what sort of pain you are experiencing i dont know how you assessed that it might be a referal pain due to other muscles...which might me missed in your diagnosis...thats why your pain is not subsiding...pls visit or take online consultation for better understanding
