Your reports do show a small cyst in the liver, which is usually a benign and common finding and often not a cause for concern. The pain you’re describing is more likely related to acidity,GERD or other causes rather than the cyst itself. Most likely acid reflux (GERD)/gastritis. In USG are small, simple, and usually benign they typically do not cause pain. These are incidental findings. GGT 219 :  elevated -  suggests liver enzyme induction (fatty liver, alcohol, drugs, or biliary issue). The patient has recurrent pain in the right upper abdomen that sometimes goes to the back. The ultrasound shows mild changes in the liver texture and a few small simple cysts, but no gallstones or blockage. Blood tests show normal liver enzymes (AST, ALT), but ALP and especially GGT are elevated. This suggests that the problem is more likely related to the liver or bile system rather than just acidity. Possible causes include early fatty liver or minor bile flow issues that may not be visible on ultrasound. Even though symptoms improved with acid-reducing medication, the recurrence indicates that acidity alone is unlikely to be the main cause and may only be a contributing factor.

Avoid fatty, spicy food. Avoid excess of tea and coffee, avoid alcohol. Drink more water. Take small, frequent meals. Take tab pantaprazole 40mg one daily before breakfast for 10 days. Syp mucaine gel 5ml every 8hours for 10 days. Get upper g.i. endoscopy done and share results.
