Regarding Urine Test

Hi Sir/Madam, My mother aged 60 noticed red color in urine, couple of times. What could be the reason? Can I order for Urine test? If it is better to have Urine test which Urine test is supposed to be done? Please suggest urine test name. So that I will conduct the test and will consult the doctor with report. Thanks.

First visit to urologist. Don't go for tests blindly. Urologist will examine the patient and then he will go for approximate tests like urine C/S, urine R/M, CBC, RFT, blood sugar, USG etc. Detailed history is needed along with examination.
Next Steps
Probably she might be having UTI, very rarely but any bleeding disease near the urethral opening or nearby sites. Examination is must here because patient is aged so we have to be extracautious.

Hello... Is she on any medication? Like for constipation or TB Because of that urine color can change to red ? If not kindly do USG KUB to r/o kidney stone Along with urine routine microscopy and a Complete blood count Review with reports
