Postural increase in pulse rate can be normal. Occasional palpitations may occur due to stress, dehydration, or caffeine. Rx: Adequate hydration Reduce caffeine and stress ECG if symptoms recur For recurrent palpitations, consult a General Physician. You may consult me via Practo.
