Regarding induction of labour

2024-03-08 12:45:09
I am 37 weeks pregnant. I will be induced on 37 weeks 3 days due to high bp. Currently am taking labetalol 2 times a day and sometimes 3 times a day. I have noticed that my bp rises when I walk otherwise on resting it remains within limit. All other parameters are fine. My query is, i will need bp medicine during labour but i heard that we can't eat anything during labour. So i will need to take medicine without eating anything?

Your doctors will monitor you during labour And accordingly give you medicine as required And you can have liquids in labour
