Hi Doctor, 1.5 months back I got diagnosed with grade 2 fatty liver. Ang my sgpt was 145.started taking urcosol 300 and vitamin e tablets and sgpt got reduced to 48 , so is my fatty liver got cured?

Consult Now
Raised SGPT doesn't show fatty liver only. High level of it may be because of other diagnosis. Fatty liver may have with normal liver function test.
Next Steps
for management of fatty liver take advice of Gastroenterologist.

Liver Enzymes and reduction of fatty liver can't be correlated. Best is to reduce weight. Get a repeat ultrasound for grading of Fatty liver
