Dear Doctor, Greetings! I want to know that cancer is genetic.? Which blood test will be helpful to understand that someone is having cancer or not.

Not all cancers are genetic and not all cancers can be detected by some blood test. Cancers need to be screened in a systematic way , by an oncologist or a qualified doctor. There is no single blood test to reveal cancer is present or not. One must check according to symptoms or specific blood test for specific organs. Genetic testing available now a days to see any genetic mutations that may lead to cancer later on.
